Abstrakt: The article discusses the study of human endogenous retroviral type W (HERV-W) and its association with multiple sclerosis (MS). It says that the envelope protein of MS if accompanied with retroviral element (MSRV) a part of the HERV-W causes dysimmunity and inflammation. It concludes that the connection between MS illness and MSRV elements is rather strong because of the evidence of in vitro from serum and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) with postmortal verification in brain lesion.
