Abstrakt:	A report is offered from a workshop on the role of women as church music composers, choral conductors, and church singers at an October 27, 2012 congress of church musicians in Erlangen, Germany. Topics of presentations given included the relationship between gender and church music participation, the biography of German composer and musician Maria Scharweiß, and equality in religious doctrine.
