Abstrakt: The temperature dependence of density and thermal expansion of 7010 and 7017 aluminum alloys have been studied by gamma ray attenuation technique in the temperature range 298 K-723 K. To carryout studies, Gamma ray densitometer with a suitable furnace has been designed and fabricated. The coefficients of temperature dependence of density have been reported and the variation of density and thermal expansion of 7010 and 7017 alloys have been represented by linear equations.
