Abstrakt: The article discusses a study on intra-articular hip injuries in National Hockey League players in different playing positions. According to the authors, the study compared hip injuries per 1000 player-hours played and per 1000 player-game appearances. Results showed goaltenders were more at risk of being injured per hours played, rather than per game played, as compared to other playing positions, and hip labral tears was mostly encountered which lead to an average of 8 man-games per injury.
