An interview with Noor Theatre's Executive Director Maha Chehlaoui is presented. She points out that they are New York focused although as Middle Eastern they are trying to get into the Iranian communities and other communities that define Middle East. Noor Theatre was started after Lameece stated that she wanted to started a company which got them to start talking about it. The theatre is a company-in-residence at New York Theatre Workshop which gives them support in terms of advice and space. |
