| Abstrakt: | The article provides a brief overview on how to reduce health inequality in people with learning disabilities and the general population. According to a report by Emerson and Baines in 2010, the inequalities experienced include mortality, coronary heart disease, mental health, etc. Evidence indicates that these disparities are due to lack of awareness among primary care staff, and the suggestions to help lessen this situation have been highlighted. |
