Abstrakt: The article focuses on small satellite Odin sponsored by the Swedish National Space Board, the Canadian Space Agency and the National Technology Agency of Finland. Odin started in the 1990s and a second instrument OSIRIS was added to expand the mission's atmospheric observing capabilities. Reactive nitrogen and halogen species are the original focus of the mission. Data collected by OSIRIS are used in assessing trends in important chemical and climate parameters.
