The article offers the insights of Ryan T. Lombardi, associate vice president and dean of students at Ohio University, on how universities can establish a good working relationship with student-protesters. According to Lombardi, student-affairs approach is important in helping students express their views peacefully by providing an open space that is adjacent to the campus police department. He adds that an open communication with student protesters should be kept to address emergency concerns. |
