The article reports on the conference of the UK Students for Exploration and Development of Space (UKSEDS) that took place on 31 March and 1 April 2012 at the University of Kent, which brought together space students and enthusiasts from various universities. Jeremy Nickless and Simon Feast from Reaction Engines took the delegates through the vision for the Skylon space plane. Dr Lewis Dartnell introduced astrobiology, and Ed Trollope, explained what was involved to fly the Rosetta mission. |
