| Abstrakt: |
The article offers information on the U.S. balance of payments. It presents a summary of the major accounts in the U.S. balance of payments from 2010 to 2012. Data show that the U.S. financial accounts were in surplus throughout the period because they represent the opposite and offsetting transactions to the deficits in the current account. Net foreign purchases of long-term U.S. securities from 2004 to 2011 are also presented. |
