Abstrakt: |
The article discusses several court cases in the U.S. related to the right not to subsidize union speech. These cases include one against Service Employees International Union (SEIU), one against United Foods Inc., and one against Detroit Board of Education. The Supreme Court reportedly ruled in the case against SEIU that public sector unions cannot rely on contributions from nonmembers when they impose midyear special assessments that exceeds annual fees unless they decide to opt in. |
