The article focuses on the modification made in the 1949 Studebaker owned by Dennis Cataldo. The car had a chassis that was restored and modified and had an LT1 Corvette engine, a 700R-4 transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear and air conditioning. He decided to modify the truck by replacing the engine with an LS6 engine. A 4L6OE transmission and a Ford 9 inch Postraction unit was installed with a 3.80 gears and Moser axles. Power windows reportedly added comfort. |
