Abstrakt: The article presents the study which assessed the genetic diversity in 35 field pea (Pisum sativum L.) accessions through the use of microsatellite markers. It claims that developing high-performing field pea cultivars is important for pea growers in Canada due to the value of field pea as a Canadian pulse crop. The study was conducted at McGill University's Macdonald Campus in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec.
