An interview with Boris Mikhailov, whom the author labelled as the best known photographer to have emerged from the former Soviet Union, is presented. When asked about the retrospective exhibition "Time Is Out Of Joint," he shares that he has shown something new and something to refresh the viewers' memories. Mikhailov intimates that his task was to create pictures that would stand the test of time. He also mentions that his creativity is influenced by the Russian-American artist Ilya Kabakov. |
