| Abstrakt: | The article features Jacqueline Guest, a self-educated author who has published 17 novels. As a single mother, Guest juggled multiple jobs including being a waitress, laboratory worker and a full-time writer. Her so-called practice book "Wish for Wings" was inspired her daughter Vanessa joining the Air Cadets and the fact that her Welsh mother was a Royal Air Force flight mechanic during World War II. She is reportedly working on the third installment of her Mètis series in 2012. |
