The article features American Indian Sandra Tio:swate Nicole Kjono, who is a member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES). It claims that Kjono was introduced to research in high school through the Math and Marine Science (M&MS) Summer Program at the University of New Hampshire. Following her graduation, Kjono was commissioned as a naval officer and started her career as an aviator. |
