The article presents a study on the protective impact of omega-3 fatty acid against toluene-induced neurotoxicity in rats' prefrontal cortex. It states that the prefrontal cortex of rats were studied for the enzymatic activities of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and level of malondialdehyde (MDA). The result of the study shows that the toluene-induced neuronal damage can be prevented by omega-3 fatty acid treatment in the prefrontal cortex of rats. |
