Abstrakt: We describe a case of a young adult who had chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis that was diagnosed by exclusion and review the distinct clinical course of this disease. It is important to make a correct diagnosis so that unnecessary repeated invasive diagnostic procedures and prolonged use of antibiotics, steroids, or other chemotherapeutic agents can be avoided.
