| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses how dentists can manage oral pain. Dentine hypersensitivity is a pain associated with exposed dentine, in which patients complain of sharp pain. Treatment strategies for dentine hypersensitivity include reduction of the ability of nerve endings to respond to external stimuli and dentinal fluid movement; and reducing the permeability of the exposed dentinal tubules. |
