Abstrakt: |
The article examines the effectiveness of an exploratory study using physical models on the attitudes and learning of students regarding earth science in the U.S. It reveals that students believed that the manipulation of physical models increased their attentiveness in class and provided a visual aid that they could later recall on the exam. It also discusses how classroom observation has indicated that students often used the models to explain the concepts to their peers. |
