The article offers information on Polymicrogyria (PMG), a neurological disorder which involves prenatal malformation of an individual's normal cerebral cortical development. It discusses etiology and treatment of PMG. It states that PMG replaces the pattern of relatively broad folds (gyri) of brain into an excessive number of small, often fused gyri. |
