The article discusses the importance of terminology for students to learn complex science materials. According to the article, one way to facilitate science vocabulary learning is through the use of imagery to help students form mental picture which can strengthen their abilities to comprehend text. With imagery as path to vocabulary, teachers can also assist students in generalizing knowledge for the overall improvement of science comprehension. |
