Abstrakt: Primary Sjōgren's syndrome (SSI) complicated by glomerulonephritis is rare and is usually associated with the presence of cryoglobulins. Cryoglobulinaemic glomeruilonephritis as described in type 11 essential mixed cryoglobulinaemia, characterized by the presence of deposits of cryoglobulins within the glomerular capillary lumen, occurring in SSI has previously been reported only once in the literature. Our case was also complicated by pleural and pericardial effusions. We discuss the treatment options available for the renal lesion. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
