The article discusses different approaches to teach animation alongwith their benefits and limitations. One approach is to give students a novelty exercise might be best served using stop motion animation and other is that students will build upon their knowledge and animate in the future. Limitations of stop motion including difficulty in manipulating clay figures, effort to create actions like jumping and creating facial expression, are also mentioned. |
