Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a 25-year-old Malay man who presented with a 3-day history of progressive symmetrical lower limb weakness with peripheral numbness. He was diagnosed with Guillain–Barre syndrome (GBS); his cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis showed albumin-cytological dissociation supporting a diagnosis of the acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy subtype of GBS. An overview of management of GBS patients and the Erasmus GBS Outcome Score is provided.
