Built-in pump with aluminum adsorption cassette for cryogenic pipelines.

Abstrakt: This paper reports the results of investigations of an adsorption cassette consisting of a compact capacious element with a developed adsorption layer in the form of a packet of eight layers of carbon cloth of the trademark KUT-M pressed between box-shaped perforated aluminum substrates. The evacuation parameters of the cassette are determined. It is found that the operating absorption capacity is 1.7-2 times higher than the adsorption capacity of the cassette determined under isothermal conditions. It is experimentally demonstrated that the adsorbent in the cassette is effectively protected by a cylindrical shield with one-way entry which cools the elements and a face disk-like shield.
