Abstrakt: The article features contributors to Texas music. Saengerhalle was established as a German singing club and later served as community meeting and dance hall and a church. Nathan Safir helped develop the first full-time Spanish-language radio station in the U.S. for Hispanic audience across Texas and Virgil Oliver Stamps helped make Southern gospel music popular and available throughout East Texas.
