Abstrakt: The article discusses the use of mathematical models in distinguishing the Macrocystis pyrifera seaweed growth and development. It says that the growth rate observed for several months was the model used in making differential equations for the elongated fronds of the seaweed. It also mentions several computer algebra systems including Mathematica, Derive, and Maple V.
