| Abstrakt: |
The article introduces a biopolymer-based coating additive with a focus on its matting performance. The biopolymer is obtained through bacterial fermentation from sugars. Some of the characteristics of the biopolymer-based additive include originating from renewable resources, fully biodegradable and free of genetically modified organism (GMO). It relates the matting efficiency of the biopolymer-based coating which was tested in solvent-free ultraviolet (UV) systems. |
