Abstrakt: Studies the anti-influenza A virus (IAV) activities of the collectins surfactant proteins (SP) A and SP-D, mannose-binding lectin (MBL) and conglutinin. Greater potency inhibition of IAV hemagglutination activity by SP-D, MBL and conglutunin than SP-A; Clarification on the structural requirements for viral inhibition by SP-D.
