Abstrakt: The article offers the author's insights on analyzing the Franco-Umbrian connection in truffle production between 1860 and 1918. The author says that he focuses on the role of technical expertise on the mutual transfer of packaging techniques. He mentions that Urbani Tartufi has been active in the truffle trade and has been developing a photo-industrial firm to an advanced food company.
