The article presents a translation of an interview conducted with Spanish director Vicente Aranda at the Mediterranean Film Festival in Montpellier, France in 2007. He discusses his work with director Joaquin Jorda and connection to the Barcelona School of filmmakers, and responds to questions about feminist and surrealist aspects of his work. He denies that he is an anarchist and discusses the role of sex in his films. |
