Abstrakt: The article focuses on the sintering parameters for producing uranium-gadolinium pellets. It informs that neutron absorbers are used in core of water moderated and cooled reactors to maintain the temperature coefficient of reactivity at a prescribed level. It informs that fuel is produced in the form of pellets and an important step in its production include sintering which is usually longer than 60 to 70 hours depending upon the equipment implementation.
