| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study which aims to assess the operational challenges and outcomes on the implementation of the new internal medicine ward redesign. It notes that resident conference attendance and duty hour violations were evaluated before and after implementation of the new ward redesign to determine residents and faculty satisfaction. It states that 30-hour continuous and 80-hour/week duty violations were eliminated and conference attendance was improved by the new ward redesign. |
