Abstrakt: The article focuses on a study done to observe the impact of the usage of Biolimus-Eluting Stents having biodegradable polymers with the bare metal stents on the patients of Acute Myocardial Infarction with the help of randomized trials. It mentions that bare metal stents has shown its capability of minimizing the reocclusion of infarcted vessel but the healing of vessel is reduced with the symptoms of inflammation. It is suggested by the author that new stents with biodegradable polymers help in controlled drug release. It also presents the brief information of experimental design.
