Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the approach in managing leek moths which is an emerging problem for allium crops in New York. It explains the characteristics of leek moth which is a native insect of Europe and is a member of the insect order Lepidoptera that causes wide damage in onions. It cites the significance of conventional or organic insecticide control as part of the overall management system and alternative controls like Kaolin clay applications and the cultural control in LM management. |
