A country report for Denmark as of August 2012 is presented. During the 2012-16 forecast period, there is a need for Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt to address diverging views on key issues within her coalition. Also, there is an increased risk of an early election during the forecast period. The budget deficit of Denmark is expected to increase to 3.9% of gross domestic product in 2012. It expects moderate gross domestic product (GDP) growth after 2012. |
