Abstrakt: The patient expectation of getting natural appearance even for posterior teeth from restorative material has significantly increased. Advances in dental technology have now made it possible to provide posterior crown which is aesthetic, with sufficient strength and also low abrasiveness on occluding with antagonistic teeth. The purpose of this article is to present a case report describing a placement of posterior crown with zirconium silicate indirect composite restorative system (e.g.Ceramage from Shofu inc). A 60-year-old had complaint of sensitivity of fractured palatal cusp on upper left first premolar (24). A full crown was mandatory, as the destruction was beyond the limits of direct composite restoration. Patient requested for a quick and economic approach. No opposing tooth was present and the patient had planned to replace with partial denture for lower arch immediately after the procedure. Low abrasive material was chosen as the opposite tooth was likely to be replaced with acrylic partial denture. The full crown restoration was completed using Ceramage. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
