An essay is presented on Quentin Tarantino's film "Inglourious Basterds" and its implications in the question of filming the "Shoah." It offers a brief overview of the film to articulate how the film deals with the majority of the aspects of these questions and explores the critical reception in which it was accused of oblivion to the historical being of the Shoah. It also examines the film's figures, frame, and gesture and the representational value and natural reality in cinematic images. |
