Abstrakt: | The article discuses a study that has been conducted for comparing the levels of depressive feelings observed in elderly people staying in old age homes to those living with family members. Several hypotheses demonstrating association between depression and other demographic factors are taken into account to show that females are affected more than the males. The neglect of older people by their children demonstrates the need for early detection and treatment of depression in elderly. |
