| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on Bahrain and its relationship with the U.S. It provides an overview on the political structure, post-charter elections, and political groups in Bahrain. It discusses the 2010 National Assembly and Municipal Election and how it became a prelude to the 2011 Uprising in the country. It examines the U.S.-Bahrain security and foreign policy relations which include arms transfers and military aid, defense pact and cooperation in operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. |
