The multilevel inverters are widely used in the field of the power electronics insofar as this structure offers various advantages: it allows the distribution of the voltage constraint on various power switches, and so, it reduces the dimensioning of semi drivers. In addition, these inverters improve the waveforms and the harmonic spectra of the output voltages. Therefore, we are interested in studying the different control strategies of this structure. The purpose of this article is first to present and explain: the hybrid PWM and the selective harmonic elimination OHSW and second to compare between these two strategies which will be applied to one of several multilevel configurations: the asymmetrical inverter. These comparisons are done with respect to THD, electromagnetic torque and stator current. For these comparisons, all the results are simulated in MATLAB/Simulink. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
