Abstrakt: | The article reports on research which was conducted to identify subgroups in nonathletes differing in their opinions on physical exercise, to analyze their perceived barriers to exercise and to compare the importance of sports during youth in nonathletes to athletes. Researchers evaluated 589 athletes and 270 athletes. They found that the most significant difference between the two groups was related to the attitude and activity of their parents and that most planned to exercise in the future. |
