Abstrakt:	An essay is presented on an inclass pedagogical methodology for stimulating student participation. It explores the goal of an element called The News of the Week which is designed to get students talking to each other. It discusses the importance for such method as part of the class plan, rather than a general conversation that takes time from the class. It also emphasizes the significant amount of preparatory time in making The News of the Week program successful.
