Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the understanding of logical inferences including five prospective elementary school teachers. Various levels of reliance on personal relevance, linguistic contextualization, and time-dependent interpretation in working through reasoning tasks were evaluated during the study. As per the study, the contextualization and logical reasoning were the two main categories that emerged from comparative analysis.
