Abstrakt: The relaxation kinetics of photoexcited conductance in pyrolitic CdS films, both pure and doped with alkaline metals, has a complex nonmonoexponential structure and is characterized by a set of activation energy values in the range from E = 0.2 to 0.4 eV. In this case, the activation energy in such complicated and inhomogeneous systems measured experimentally is a complicated function depending on the time of sample photoexcitation and the time of photocurrent relaxation: E = E( t, t). It is shown that at least four types of potential barriers of heights of 0.2, 0.28, 0.35, and 0.39 eV participate in the process of recombination of nonequilibrium photoexcited electrons and holes.
