| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a history of the hagiography of Catalina de Erauso, a Spanish nun and soldier who lived during the early 17th century. Analysis is included of the evaluation of de Erauso's life from the perspectives of the Jesuit priest Diego de Rosales and from the nun herself, through her autobiography. The author explores the ambiguity between the realities and fictions of the de Erauso's life as it is represented in the analyzed texts. |
