The article explores playwright Cyrano de Bergerac's "Le Pédant Joué" in order to understand the artistic evolution of his writing style. Due to a lack of information on the play's composition layers, the author points out historical references in the play. From the analyses presented, the earliest version is assumed to have been written between September 7 and December 1651. |
