Abstrakt: Decommissioning of a nuclear facility is a major industrial undertaking that can take many years, depending on the approach strategy. The BN-350 reactor facility (BN-350 RF) with the fast neutron reactor with liquid metal coolant had been in operation since 1973 through 1999 as part of the production complex of the Mangyshlak atomic energy complex. The Reactor facility was designed for supplying steam for turbogenerators and sea water desalinization. The designed thermal power of the reactor is 1,000 MW. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
