Abstrakt: Atomic force microscopy (AFM) is a type of probe microscopy based on the interaction force between atoms (more precisely, exchange interaction between atoms of the probe and of the specimen). AFM has been used for non-specific and specific visualization of viruses and bacteria. A novel method of specific visualization has been developed using antibodies and protein A layer. An approach to the evaluation of bactericidal activity of nano-objects has been obtained. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
